Hello loves! My name is Vanessa and I’m the Editor-in-Chief. I joined The Rutgers Review in my sophomore year when I realized that I really wanted to get my writing out there, and since it was COVID I was also looking for a sense of community. I’ve been with The Review ever since and <3 it and everyone in it. Never met a more creative/fun/dedicated bunch of people in my life. Besides writing, there are a lot of things I enjoy such as film, books, and traveling. I also like to people watch, laugh, and serve looks. Most of all I love music (I sing and dabble in different instruments) . I have many flaws but my taste in music is not one of them. If you’re into neo soul or nu jazz please find me so we can geek out together.
