I’m a reader, writer, knitter, and semi-successful house plant/perfume enthusiast. Currently, I am a freshman with the DRC. My major is still undecided, but I’m considering pursuing journalism or English. Once upon a time I ran a book club, competed in speech and debate, and taught myself beginner Korean. At one point during quarantine I was obsessed with the TLC show “Four Weddings” and cheered whenever a wedding was hosted in Jersey. I’ve been described as “a fan of many things and people”, which is why my column “That’s Fan Behavior '' focuses on how different fan communities behave and interact. I’ll be deep diving communities, analyzing social phenomena, and exploring the boundaries and intersections between content, creator, and consumer. Ironically, I’m also a collector of hand fans.
