Once you are caught on a celebrity crush hook, you are stuck there for the long run. You find yourself unconsciously following them on every social media outlet and frequently looking up his or her pictures. It becomes a natural part of life and you never pay attention to this happy obsession. If anyone ever mentions that they like your crush more than you do, the defensive mode goes on full force and that person will be lucky if they can run away before you do any damage. Over all you are content with your life and it all goes on. Deep down inside you wish to see them or meet them on an unsuspecting ride on the train or bus. Then soon enough your crush bubble pops because you realize you and him or her will never probably meet. Like rainfall your crush becomes a sad shell of unhappiness but you continue on crushing on them because oh do his or her eyes sparkle and the way they smile is to die for.

That’s how I felt when I saw the “Harvard Hottie” from The Nanny Diaries movie. I was never ready for the amount of pining I had for the actor. I almost could not finish watching the movie with the need to1174518_177083729140182_206785341_n look up who was this man. As soon as the credits rolled in I watched the screen religiously, looking for his name. Chris Evans came rolling up and I was done for. I searched his images and looked at Wikipedia for his biography, which started me on my Evan movie craze. If you ask me what the plot of Captain America is, I will confidently tell you it’s about how fine Chris Evans is.

Unfortunately just because I know his birthday and his favorite color, does not automatically mean that he will ever ever know mine. That will not stop me from searching for the newest Chris Evans photo shoot. I almost melted when I saw the images for Flaunt Magazine. I still wait for the day where moving images can be found in books, newspapers, and other printed goods. Moving on from movies and pictures, I still have a whole plethora of interviews to look out for. This is when your crush becomes fully formed because Chris Evans is a funny man outside of the screen. And he is really into giving back to the community through the movie What’s Your Number.

But even though we know we will never have a chance with them we still continue our crushes. I always wondered why but it has become a normal part of life. I do not think I would get rid of my happiness to see Chris Evans, Zac Efron, Shia LaBeouf, Joseph Gordon-Levitt , Chris Hemsworth or Dave Franco on screen or in the magazines.
