COREFEST is a cheap and local music festival for anyone willing to shell out $10. If life sucks becuase you can’t afford Governor’s Ball and Firefly, then you’re in luck. Beginning at noon on Saturday 4/13, 90.3 The Core, Rutgers’ own student-run radio station, will be hosting COREFEST.

Since 90.3 The Core promotes the growth of local and up and coming music, COREFEST will give viewers the chance to hear new music that they might not be able to hear anywhere else.

This music festival, taking place in the Rutgers Student Center Multipurpose Room on the College Avenue Campus, will be featuring 8 bands. Wild Rice, Ex Wife, Sink Tapes, Long Faces, Terror Pigeon Dance Revolt, Perennial Reel, Sun Puddles, and Mumblr, which are bands local to the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania area, will be performing.

Support the locals and support independent college radio!
