when the album was announced i quickly finger-sprinted over to itunes and attacked the pre-order button. after finding a leaked copy, the album is worth way more than $7.99.

i can say that these babes will be serenading me all summer. most of BLEACHED’s past songs have been upbeat, catchy, and forced you to pump your ankles. the same can be said for the majority of the album. they’ve rerecorded their past single SEARCHING THROUGH THE PAST. the trippy opening to DEAD IN YOUR HEAD actually caught me off guard.

jenn clavin’s vocal ability is comparable to joan jett’s dreamy lyrics in crimson and clover, the song packs a lot of power and is easily my favorite song on the debut album. the album’s title song, RIDE YOUR HEART, is a slow jam accented with rough guitar riffs, praise jessie clavin’s fingers. i’ve had the whole album on repeat for the last couple days and i’m still not done with it. it truly is refreshing to have a shiny new full length album you can listen to over and over again.

add this shit to your summer playlist, they are doing it right.
