Ultra Music Festival is amazing yet again this year, not that I went or anything, but I did watch the live stream.

Two weekends in a row, I sat, danced and watched selfishly in my room as the live stream played online for viewers around the world. More than 64,000 viewers shared my experience of Ultra Music Festivals from the comfort of their homes.

I wonder why more people don’t resort to this. After all, tickets for this festival range but can go up to $350. And here I was, senselessly raging in my bedroom, taking breaks when I needed for bathroom and snacks, things that become a hassle while at festivals.

The website allows for viewers to participate in a live chat which has a friendly environment for excited opinions on the sets and help from each other by posting the song while the DJs performed.

On the downside, with every piece of technology, there is always room for technical difficulties. There were a handful of times per night where I and viewers had to stop and refresh the page in order to continue the stream, as well as the lag that did not always match the video.

Ultra Music Festival will come to an end tomorrow with more amazing shows, including Swedish House Mafia’s final Performance. Being there in person would be killer, but who will join me in watching the live stream instead?
