Twas only yesterday,
a British chap arrived.
He asked where I was from,
normal diatribe.
I answered “New Jersey,”
“from a town near the shore.”
He asked “what part exactly?”
wanting to know more.
“Toms River” I said,
not expecting him to know.
He said “That’s cool,”
“I’ve got something to show.”
He lifted his shirt,
“Check out my tattoo.”
